FAA Part 145 refers to Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 145, which establishes the standards for maintenance facilities involved in the maintenance, inspection, or alteration of aircraft and aircraft components. These maintenance facilities, known as repair stations, must be certified by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to perform aircraft maintenance and ensure that all maintenance activities meet FAA safety and quality standards. While Part 145 primarily applies to repair stations located in the United States, it also includes foreign repair stations that perform maintenance on U.S.-registered aircraft.
