A Building Automation System (BAS) is a network of hardware and software that provides automated control and monitoring of various systems within a building from a single platform. Controlled building systems include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); electrical; lighting and shading; access control and security; fire and flood safety; and other building systems.
